Good to know about you guys through youtube. You guys are really doing great. I am also a fan of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's music, he was a great singer & great musician. His Qawwalis are still famous around the world. When I was doing my masters from Brooklyn college New York I used to drive cab to support my studies and during driving I used to listen his music. I remember New Yorkers have always asked me that who is this singer? and where he is from? No doubt he was exceptional. Now his nephew "Rahat Fateh Ali khan" is on the top in india & Pakistan & have won many awards. There is another good program aired on Pakistani TV channels by the name of "Coke Studio", it is a fusion of Sufi & pop music, by pakistani young artists. You can search it on youtube by "Coke Studio". Hope you like it too.

This is very interesting. I am of a sufi family originally from India. Every year my family hosts an event in NJ to honor Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. The event is open to all and is free of charge. My parents have been hosting this event since we first came the country. The objective is simply to promote the teaching, "love to all and malice to no one". We generally have a Urdu speaking qawali bad at our event. I came across your website and was rather intrigues by it.

Do you have any plans to play in the Boston area? Else, I will certainly plan to attend one of your NYC events and will most likely bring my father to show him.

I had been checking out Qawwali music lately and so found your CD on itunes and purchased it. I have to tell you that its the coolest thing ever! I am glad I had purchased the traditional ones first because that has made listening to your versions even sweeter!

So the one CD is the only one? I would love, love, love to be in line to know if you decide to come out with a new one. I would purchase it in a heartbeat.

In these troubled times where there is so much to polarize people along religious lines (for eg., Hindus and Muslims in India after the Mumbai attacks), Nusrats music is the most comforting of the few consolations available to people who imagine a shared identity and culture. I am Hindu and grew up with Urdu and with the Nusrat's qawwalis., and no matter how much I've listened to him, I'm always rendered speechless everytime I check out his sufiana qawwalis. Your rendition of "Man Kun toh Maula" brought tears to my eyes. Brilliant !!! Keep up the good work. The music you interpret is much more than just music !!
